Dec 28, 2023 - Carole Lombard wore an incredible 152 carat star sapphire in the classic movie, "My Man Godfrey". This board is about the re-creation of that historical brooch, commissioned by Larry McQueen, owner of the costume from the film. The project began with researching historical images from the film, studying jewelry from the time period and continued until completion of the brooch.
